My Journey

My fitness journey began 10 years ago when I was 18, young insecure and ready to enter the adult world…

I knew that I wanted to make my mark… Out of vanity I decided that if I could get my body to look awesome and capture peoples attention I would become a ‘somebody’…

In 6 months I successfully transformed my body from weak and scrawny to strong and muscular. Soon I started to get a lot of attention for it…

Very quickly I began to realise how many more benefits came along side just looking good… Having tonnes more energy, a whole new self esteem and confidence, belief in myself etc.

This taught me some key life lessons that I’ve found are applicable to many areas. With a clear plan and some guidance, I now believe it’s truly possible to change every area of your life…

Once I realised this I started to really look inwards and figure out how I wanted my life to look.

Before long I felt a strong pull towards guiding others through a similar transition. Very quickly my life became committed to helping empower others.

Learning is something I have an insatiable hunger for. I am constantly learning as much as I can about the body, nutrition, psychology, communication, people, business, happiness – everything that equates to a full and happy life…

Sharing this knowledge with others and watching peoples lives blossom has become a never ending passion for me…

The last ten years have taught me that health, fitness and clarity are at the core of all wellbeing. Having confidence in ourselves and abundant energy makes conquering the challenges that life throws at us all that much easier.

I split my time fairly evenly between physically training with people in the gym and life coaching.

We all have doubts and concerns about our lives, and areas we’d like to work on. Sharing these areas of concern and exploring options allows us to develop practical action steps to move us forward. I am yet to find an area of life that this approach cannot help with.

My teachings and practices are all centered around balance and longevity…

Sure it’s impressive to lift a weight three times your bodyweight, just as it’s impressive to earn tonnes of money. But if it’s only possible at the expense of other important areas of your life then it does not make for healthy balance…

I aim to continually improve my understanding of psychology, I am to improve my level of strength and fitness without injury, I aim to improve my relationship with my wife and my family, my business and work/life balance, and I aim to transfer all of the positive life lessons with my friends and clients along the way.
